Frequently asked questions:
Q: Do you use sample libraries or do you employ live instruments?
I employ musicians as well as drawing from my line of virtual instruments depending on the project. I believe it is essential to incorporate live instruments but with budget constraints, I can deliver great music with the tools I have. As a recording musician myself, I try to create opportunities for other musicians and artists while keeping your project's budget in mind.
Q: How much do you charge?
The fee depends on the target audience, intended broadcast duration, length of music, and the type of instrumentation needed. Sometimes, I will need time to research an unusual instrument that you are requesting or I will need to employ live musicians. This all factors into the answer. However, I do have a general pricing sheet available at request.
Q: What kind of gear do you have?

Q: Why go to you? Why not a music library?
Stock music libraries are a nice avenue for acquiring music. However, they are "apples and oranges" when it comes to your goals:
Focus On What You Do Best
Spending time to listen to a bunch of tracks to see if it works in your project is probably not what want to be doing. After our consultation, I will usually "hit the nail on the head," the first or second try. Let me offer what I do best so that you can focus on what you do best.
It is so important to spend time talking over the music together. I offer free spotting sessions to make sure we set the music in the right place at the right time. Also, this will clear up any discrepancies we have with direction of the music.
Edits and Changes
Although you may be experienced in audio editing and can adjust music to see fit, you are limiting yourself to cutting and pasting of music. If you would like to change an instrument or shorten a section of music without changing the feel, I can do that free of charge. Also depending on the project I will include a free amount of rewrites as well for your satisfaction.
Valuable Insight and Collaboration
Look at me not as an employee but an artistic partner in your project. I am easy to work with and can contribute to the storytelling when necessary. Some of the best works have been done through the partnership efforts of the director and composer.
Affordable Without Sacrifice
Although you can license an inexpensive track from a music library, there are times when there is no substitute for the process of collaboration. Enlist my services for high quality music without paying premium price.
